Who you’ll be seeing.
Dr. Seema Singh trained at Chandigarh, where she finished her DHMS as a gold medalist, and has been in practice for more than thirty years. For the last ten of those she has run this clinic in Phase 10, Sector 64. Most of her work is with chronic and allergic conditions: the complaints that keep coming back, that people have often carried for years, and that need somebody to sit down and go through the whole history.
Her consultations are long ones. Before she settles on a remedy she wants to know when the trouble started, what makes it better or worse, how you sleep, how your digestion is, what has already been tried, and what else is going on in your life at the moment.

She keeps the medicines herself and hands them over at the end of the visit. Patients who have moved away from Mohali, or who live abroad, are followed up on the phone and have their medicines couriered to them.

Your remedy is made up at the clinic and given to you there. A follow-up is fixed to see how you have responded.

Questions
What patients usually ask first.
Is homeopathy safe to take with allopathic medicines?
Usually yes, but tell Dr. Seema about everything you are taking: medicines prescribed by other doctors, supplements, anything bought over the counter. Bring the packets or a written list to your first visit.
Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own. Any change to treatment prescribed elsewhere should be made with the doctor who prescribed it.
How long does homeopathic treatment take to work?
It depends on the condition and how long you have had it. Recent complaints can settle quickly. Long-standing ones usually take months of steady treatment and regular follow-up.
She will give you a realistic idea at the first visit, going by your own case. It will be an estimate, not a guarantee.
Do homeopathic medicines have any side effects?
Homeopathic remedies are given in very small doses and are generally well tolerated. Even so, tell the doctor about anything unusual you notice after starting a remedy, so the medicine or its potency can be reviewed at follow-up.
Can I consult from outside Mohali, or from abroad?
Yes. Patients who have moved away from Mohali, or who live outside India, are consulted and followed up on the phone, and their medicines are couriered to them, within India and overseas. Where it is possible a first consultation in person is still the better starting point. Call the clinic to arrange it.
Is homeopathy a replacement for emergency or hospital care?
No. For chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, serious injury, or any situation that feels like an emergency, go to the nearest hospital straight away. Homeopathic treatment at this clinic is not a substitute for emergency medical care, surgery, or investigations your doctor has advised.
